HOW DOES THE PAYMENT PROCESS WORK?
I will email you a contract through Agree to look over and sign. Once it is signed, you will pay a $1,000 non-refundable retainer to hold your date.
You can either mail a check or Venmo me. The final payment will be due one week before your wedding date.
The full payment for engagement or smaller sessions is due at the signing of the contract.
WHAT IF I CAN'T PAY THE DEPOSIT UPFRONT?
We can create a customized payment plan to do two separate payments of $500 for the non-refundable retainer.
WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
Your engagement session will be delivered 2-4 weeks after our session.
Your wedding photos will be delivered 4-6 weeks after your date.
WHERE ARE YOU BASED OUT OF?
I am based in Moorhead, Minnesota!
DO YOU TRAVEL?
Yes! Fill out the contact form, and I will get back to you with more information.
If it is a destination wedding, let me know where, and it might just be on my Bucket List!

WHAT DO WE WEAR FOR OUR ENGAGEMENT SESSION?

Otherwise, I recommend hopping on Pinterest and typing in "Engagement Session Outfit Ideas for Summer." (or whatever season your engagement photos will take place in.)
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE NEED TO RESCHEDULE OUR ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
I allow one free reschedule! If you need to reschedule again, there will be an additional $100 fee to reserve a new date.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE NEED TO RESCHEDULE/CANCEL OUR WEDDING?
The deposit is a non-refundable retainer for the date that you originally booked with me since I most likely turned down other bookings to reserve this date for you.
If you need to reschedule your date, we will create a new contract with a new (second) $1,000 retainer.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU CAN'T MAKE IT TO OUR WEDDING?
If an unforseen reason such as pregnancy, illness, or death were to come up, either my second shooter would take over, or I would find a photographer with a similar style to my own as a replacement. If able, I would then edit the photographs myself to keep with the style of K.Ranae Photography.
CAN YOU PHOTOSHOP US?
Nope! I soften skin and edit out temporary things such as blemishes when need be. You are beautiful the way God made you!
HOW DO I GET MY IMAGES?
I will email you a link to your online gallery. You can then download the whole album to your computer or single photos to your phone. You can also share the link with friends and family!
CAN I READ SOME REVIEWS?
Yes! Under "Contact" there is a sub-page called "Kind Words."
DO YOU OFFER FAMILY AND MINI SESSION PACKAGES?
Yes! Fill out the contact form, and I will get back to you with more details.
CAN WE GET COFFEE OR CHAT ON THE PHONE?
Of course! Fill out the contact form, and leave a message saying "Let's get coffee!" or "Let's talk on the phone!" if you'd like to chat more about what your wedding day would look like with me!
DO YOU HELP WITH THE PLANNING PROCESS?
Yes! We will either talk on the phone or meet up at a local coffee shop to create a customized timeline for your day. I am also available to answer any questions or to give advice!
WHAT IF WE HAVE TO RESCHEDULE OUR WEDDING DUE TO COVID?
I totally understand that these are unknown times! Because of that, I only charge a $200 rescheduling fee to reserve a second date instead of my typical $1,000 rescheduling fee. After reserving your date, we will create a new timeline 1-4 months before your wedding.
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR MILEAGE?
I charge the standard mileage rate when the event is outside of the FM area.
These rates do not apply to destination weddings.
WHY DO I WANT A SECOND SHOOTER AT MY WEDDING?
A second shooter:
- Provides more coverage throughout your wedding day.
DO YOU SELL PRINTS AND CANVASES
Yes! After receiving your photos, you can find the "Print Store" connected to your online gallery. It is in the upper right-hand corner!

HOW MANY HOURS OF COVERAGE DO I WANT FOR MY WEDDING?
8-10 hours allows for more coverage of the events happening on your wedding day. It also allows for a more relaxed timeline. You get more time between and after shooting to just chill, have fun, and take in your wedding day with your spouse, friends, and family!
Having a small wedding? 6 hours is perfect!

WHY IS AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION IMPORTANT TO HAVE?
An engagement session before your wedding day is so important because that is where you create a relationship with your photographer! You will be spending the entire 8-10 hour day with them, so you want to have an open line of communication as well as a friendship! You want to feel comfortable and confident!
They're also important if you want photos for your Save the Dates, social media, and to hang around your house.
